Welcome to my first update for a while, I am sure you will have noticed a few changes since my last writing. We have had a bit of a low profile for the last couple of months whilst the new web site has been designed and implemented! There are a few changes still needed but we are now back on line and hitting the ground running! If you have any feedback on the new site we would love to hear from you. Hopefully, the new look retains the character of our business whilst displaying the full range of pianos that we have in our showrooms. Another new feature for us is our Facebook page, I am told that it would be great if you would care to ‘like us’ on Facebook!
Another very important development with this new phase for our business is the addition of Michelle to the team. I have known Michelle for a few years (looking after her piano at her teaching practise!) and am delighted that she has joined the team bringing with her enthusiasm and fresh ideas. Having Michelle to help with the day to day running of the showroom opens up so many new opportunities for us, together we will be taking the business forward with a shared commitment to keeping true to the principles that have served us so well to date.
With our web presence being disrupted over the last few months it has been a quieter time for us. However, our referral networks have served us well during this time and we have enjoyed some exciting visits to the showrooms. Restored grand pianos from Bosendorfer, Grotrian-Steinweg and Bluthner have been chosen with replacements from Grotrian-Steinweg, Bosendorfer, Bluthner and Shiedmayer grand pianos currently being restored. Kawai pianos continue to be a popular choice with two uprights currently being prepared ready for delivery. We are all missing the Grotrian-Steinweg Cristal from our Grotrian line up, the replacement is due in soon returning our stock to full so that we offer every upright acoustic system in the range. After meeting with our colleagues at Bluthner pianos we are now stocking their Irmler Europe range which we are very excited about. These pianos are made in Europe for Bluthner and finished at the Bluthner factory in Leipzig and distributed from there. They offer a great alternative to the Asian piano makers and retain the characteristics associated with the very fine Bluthner pianos.
Over the next few months we will continue to fine tune the web site and look forward to welcoming many more visitors to our showrooms. We are all incredibly excited by recent events and can’t wait to share the enthusiasm that we have for our pianos with as many people as possible!
